The recipes on this website are all gluten-free, sugar-free and dairy-free. They are also vegan. They are not nut-free or soy-free. A diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains healed me, and that is what you will find here. I use Lakanto, liquid Stevia, and Vegetable Glycerine to add sweetness. All are low on the glycemic index. Sometimes I use honey (not technically vegan, I know) or maple syrup. I indulge in a sweet treat daily, and I don’t miss sugar at all.
When I changed my diet, I found it challenging to find recipes that fit my new requirements: vegan + gluten-free + sugar-free. Okay – ones that fit my requirements and that actually tasted good. Food must be tasty. Sounds obvious, but I’ve tried a lot of eewie stuff out there. These recipes have all been tried and served to multiple tasters, including my adorable but picky children. They all passed the “friends and family taste test”.
I hope you enjoy making the recipes I have posted. Some, I created myself and some, I found on other websites. If I found the recipe from another site, I’ve noted where it’s from and provided a link to the original source.
